Information we collect and why
Effective 28 August 2026. Be Free Cafe is operated by Be Free Organics Pty Ltd (ABN 54 637 602 049). This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit be-free.au, make a booking, buy a gift card, submit a catering or contact form, join our mailing list or interact with us. We may collect your name, contact details, booking and event details, dietary requirements you choose to provide, purchase and gift-card information, communications, device information, cookies and website usage data. We collect this information to provide services, respond to enquiries, manage bookings and catering, process payments and gift cards, improve the website, maintain records, prevent misuse and, with consent, send marketing.
How information is used and shared
We may receive information directly from you or through service providers such as Wix, Now Book It, Lightspeed, Stripe, email and analytics providers. We disclose information only where reasonably needed to operate the business, provide a requested service, comply with law, protect rights or with your consent. Some providers may store or process information outside Australia; their locations and privacy practices can change, so review the privacy terms shown when using those services. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe option.
Security, access and complaints
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No online system is completely secure. We keep information only as long as reasonably required for business, legal and record-keeping purposes, then delete or de-identify it where practicable. You may ask to access or correct your personal information, withdraw marketing consent or make a privacy complaint by emailing hello@be-free.au. We will respond within a reasonable time.
