Being part of Perth City Farm keeps us close to the growing, composting and community work around us. In our own operations, we try to reduce waste and choose local and organic ingredients where practical.

Composting
We separate food scraps for composting and use them in our family garden and chicken run.

Packaging
We avoid plastic bags, reuse boxes where practical, and offer paper or reusable options. Many takeaway items are compostable or recyclable; please check local council guidance.

Glass jars and cups
Return eligible glass juice jars to the cafe for a credit. Please dispose of takeaway cups and paper straws according to local collection rules.

Produce
Most of our produce is certified organic. We prefer Australian growers and small businesses when season and supply allow.

Coffee grounds
Ask us for used coffee grounds for your compost or garden.
